This short story collection will include many brand-new tales and others only previously available on Kelley Armstrong's website. Most of the stories will feature the werewolves of the Otherworld, Elena and Clay, Jeremy, Karl and other members of the American Pack. These are some of Kelley Armstrong's best-loved and most enduring characters, from bestselling books such as Bitten, Stolen and Frostbitten.

1) Demonology - Adam's mother discovers what he is
2) Stalked - Clay/Elena honeymoon story from "My Big Fat Supernatural Honeymoon"
3) Hidden - SubPress 2012 Elena/Clay novella
4) Twilight - a Cass story from "Many Bloody Returns"
5) Chivalrous - Reese's backstory from SubPress's long sold-out "Tales of Dark Fantasy 2" (the Dec'14 SubPress graphic novella picks up this storyline)
6) Lucifer's Daughter - Hope/Karl story from "Blood Lite II: Overbite"
7) From Russia with Love - Elena bonus story included with hardcover of "Thirteen"
8) Vanishing Act - brand-new Savannah/Adam novella set after "Thirteen"

Excuse me while I fangirl for a while ..... I LOVED THIS ANTHOLOGY!! (And I usually don´t read anthologies or short stories) I LOVE IT!! It´s a goooood compilation of stories and I´ll also say that the Women of the Otherworld series is one of my favorite adult books ever along with the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, and I´ve special affection to the stories of Clay and Elena or any other that has to do with the pack, so I could not pass up this anthology.

I had previously read, Stalked, Hidden and From Russia with Love, but I could not let pass the opportunity to reread them, and I also wanted to read Vanishing Act, because it takes place after the end of the series and I wanted to read more of Savannah and Adam.

Demonology: A short story about Adam's mom, whom after several months of seeing several doctors and therapists regarding her young son Adam ends up having an appointment with Dr. Robert Vasic, that some nurse advised her to see, but what is her surprise when she realizes that his specialty is demonology.

Stalked: This story is about the honeymoon of Clay and Elena as both are tiptoeing around each other trying to have a perfect honeymoon and Clay is trying to not lose his temper when a mutt start to stalking them.

Hidden: This is the longest story of approx. 190 pages, and it´s about the Christmas holiday of Clay, Elena and their twins, they want to have a special Christmas only four of them, but again other werewolves are causing disasters, so they have to investigate what is happening, without their twins knowing what is happening.

Twilight: The short story of Cass was okay, but not my favorite.

Chivalrous: This was the saddest story in this anthology .... is about Reese, when he still lives in Australia and tells us the story about what happened to his parents, and to the girl he loved, which is the main reason he fled to America. I enjoyed to the meet Reese before his tragedy change him.

Lucifer's Daughter: Also enjoyed the story of Hope and Karl, when they were dating and it was fun to see them interact.

From Russia with Love: Another short story of Clay and Elena happens at the end of the book Thirteen, which is the last book of the series and is about them getting together with the pack and facing another sort of threat.

Vanishing Act: The story of Adam and Savannah was the main attraction for me in this anthology, as we see them a year after the events in the last book of the series, how their love relationship is going and where it´s headed, in addition to a supernatural investigation.

And in this story finally someone of the main characters know something about the existence of the special supernatural teens (this is part of her YA Darkness Rising trilogy), I specially enjoyed this part!.

As a fan of the Women of the Otherworld series, I greatly enjoyed knowing more about some of the characters and catch up with some characters. I highly recommended for fans of the series.

  1. I didn't really go further with this series. Would I be able to read it even though I've only read the first book?

    1. No, I don´t think so because some stories are between book 10 and 11; and the last two stories are after the ending of the series.
