Easy is a book I bought because I heard a lot of buzz about it, and had read several reviews where this book was highly recommended it and now that I had read it, let me tell you that I loved it!, this is a must read.
Easy tells the story of Jacqueline, a girl who is rescued from a sexual assault that was about to commit someone she knew and is rescued by a stranger. Jacqueline tries to forget about what happened and she thinks that she will never see her savior, but it turns out that not only he is one of her classes, but she notices him around campus (in a non stalker way). The attraction and romance that develops between Jacqueline and Lucas is sexy, steamy and sweet.
This book is told from Jacqueline´s, she is a girl in college, living on campus and to which her boyfriend of three years has just broke up with her. Lucas ..... what can I say about him, he is sexy, mysterious, a good guy who listens and cares for Jacqueline, but also has a bad boy vibe and has a tortured past. I LOVED him! and his past is heartbreaking.
Easy is a realistic contemporary novel with romance that contains mature situations such as sexual abuse and I liked the way it was handle in this book. I definitely recommend it!, is a must read. I Loved it!
Favorites quotes:
"So I don't want you to feel pressured. Or overpowered. But I do, absolutely, want to kiss you right now. Badly.” He trailed his finger over my jaw and down my throat....
“If someone had asked, "How does this compare to kissing Kennedy?" I would have answered, "Who?”
“Choosing to be with you isn’t a difficult decision, Jacqueline,” he breathed, pulling back one final time to stare into my eyes. “It’s easy. Incredibly easy.”
