I am so excited for the release of this novel! I loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone and thought the cliffhanger ending was just cruel, so I can't wait to see the adventures that await Akiva and Karou in this sequel! Fantastic choice!(:

ReplyDeleteI'm ashamed to admit that I've had a copy of Daughter of Smoke and Bone sitting on my shelf for almost a year and I have yet to read it. I seriously need to get caught up on books! I've heard it's awesome though, so I hope I'll love it too :)

Karou is such an original heroine and I like LTaylor's Angel/Demon myth, it feels so exotic and biblical, not the modernized versions that we usually read about today.
