This section or meme is call Book Cover Battle, the first time I saw it was at Books Passion for Life as UK vs US and Bookaholics book club as UK vs The World but because I don´t live in the UK, I can´t name it that way, so for now is Book Cover Battle .
This week book cover battle is

US (original) US (new)

I like the Indonesian cover, I don´t know if it go with the theme of the book, since I have not read it, but at least this cover gets my attention, if they were all on the same shelf, the first book I would choose to read the back cover would be the Indonesian.
My second and third choice would be the German and the Croatia covers.
What do you think? Which is your favorite?
You haven't read Delirium? You should! :D
ReplyDeleteI like the new US cover, but I saw the original first at the bookstore. The Indonesian looks like a movie poster. I think my favorite is the German or Croatian. It has a meaning in the near end of the story. :)
Wow the Indonesian one is awesome! It looks like it could be a movie poster.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Delirium yet either, but it's sitting on my shelf in my TBR pile. :)
I like the new US cover the most and the least one would be UK (such a straight face (>.<)
ReplyDeleteI like the new US cover the most! Delirium is an amazing book! A must-read for sure! The Indonesian cover is pretty unique though!
ReplyDeleteThe new US cover is pretty but I feel that the old one is more unique! Oh well, at least the trilogy has matching covers. (Can't say the same for the Across the Universe & Curse Worker books)
ReplyDeleteThe Indonesian cover really looks like a movie poster. o.o
I actually don't like any of the covers. I hate books with peoples faces on them urgh! If I had to pick then I'd go with the US original hardback... but all the wispy scroll bothers me... yup I'm picky lol!
ReplyDeleteI don't really care for the Indonesian cover. I agree it looks like the poster for a movie and one for an action movie. I haven't read the book yet. It also is sitting at home at the top of my TBR pile, but what I've gathered from the description, it's not as much of an action book as some of the other dystopian tales, but maybe I'm wrong.
ReplyDeleteIt is so weird seeing all of these different covers.... I think my favorite might be the us new which is the same as spain... I dont really like the rest.... the us original is kinda cool in an artsy way....
ReplyDeleteI like the Spain or new US cover the best
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I feel like the Indonesian cover could almost be a cover for Divergent . . . I do like the original US one a lot more in person, though.
ReplyDeleteGotta admit, the Indonesian cover certainly tells a story more than any of the others. Then again, I'm not familiar with the what the story is about either. I do want to read it though. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the original US one the best
ReplyDeleteI really like the Indonesian cover. All of the colors and the way the girl is falling with her hair flying all over the place. It caught my eye first. The only other covers that I like okay are the US covers, original and new. But the Indonesian wins this one by a few miles for me.
ReplyDeleteI really like the maroon ones from Croatia and Germany.
