Top Ten Tuesday (20): Top Ten Best/Worst Series Endings

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

Top Ten Best/Worst Series Endings
(in no particular order)

Where She Went (If I Stay #2) by Gayle Forman;  This is one of my favorite books ever!!

Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy #6) by Richelle Mead: I have a love-hate relationship with this book, because I love the series and all the characters but I´m TEAM ADRIAN, so I´m just going to say that there are other ways to do things and not break the heart of my beloved Adrian.
And also it left a lot of question unanswered about the rest of the secondary characters (some of them are answered on The Bloodlines series).

Requiem (Delirium #3) by Lauren Oliver: I don´t like open endings.
Bloodrose (Nightshade #3) by Andrea Cremer: Seriously!!! I loved the first 75% of this book but then something happens at that 75% and I actually had to put it down get my feelings under control (I was about to throw it against the wall), read another book to lighten up the mood then return to read it. And then I got to that ending!!

Which books do you think had the best/worst series endings?
Leave me your links!

  1. I hated the endings to Delirium and Nightshade. I loved Where She Went. I can't wait for her book signing on Thursday!!!!

  2. I agree about Requiem. I prefer to be told how the story ends, not figure it out for myself.

  3. Interesting list! I've read only HP from these, and of course loved it, but I finally read If I Stay a while ago, so I'm glad you loved Where She Went, too, I can't wait to read it :)

  4. CP2 made my best, Requiem my worst, and Deathly Hallows & Last Sacrifice didn't actually make either list, although I mention them both. I love Adrian as well, but I always wanted Rose & Dimitri to end up together. I'm so glad he's getting his second chance in Bloodlines.

  5. Bloodrose and Requiem! YES! I agree. I was so pissed over what Cremer did. Seemed like a cop out if you ask me. That is so interesting Iron Knight was your favorite of the series. I would have to say I loved Iron Queen a bit more. I do like how she ended things with Meghan and Ash though. :D
