Waiting On Wednesday (121): Isla and the Happily Ever After

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

The book I´m waiting this week is

Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss #3) by Stephanie Perkins
Release date: August 14th 2014
From the glittering streets of Manhattan to the moonlit rooftops of Paris, falling in love is easy for hopeless dreamer Isla and introspective artist Josh. But as they begin their senior year in France, Isla and Josh are quickly forced to confront the heartbreaking reality that happily-ever-afters aren’t always forever.

Their romantic journey is skillfully intertwined with those of beloved couples Anna and Étienne and Lola and Cricket, whose paths are destined to collide in a sweeping finale certain to please fans old and new.

Why I'm Waiting?
Anna and the French Kiss is one of my favorite contemporary books EVER, and I had been DYING to read this book since 2011, when I read Lola and the Boy Next Door. The release date of this book has been pushed back several times, so I hope to read it as soon it comes out.

  2. I added this book to my Goodreads tbr on Feb. 18, 2011.
I think we've all been waiting... and waiting... August is a long way off, so I'm not holding my breath on this one. Still want to read it when it comes out. I think some of my excitement for this book has faded over the years.

  3. I'm dying to read this one too, but with the constant rescheduling I'm getting tired of it. I mean I always lift my hopes up and then get disappointed when they move the publishing date. Hopefully it'll get out once already. Great pick :)

  5. I really, really need to start reading this series. I don't know why I haven't started it yet, but I need to already I think. I can't recall a single negative review about these books, and that makes me think I will like them, too!
