Book Cover Battle #54: The Sky Is Everywhere

This section or meme is call Book Cover Battle, the first time I saw it was at Books Passion for Life as UK vs US  and  Bookaholics book club as UK vs The World but because I don´t live in the UK, I can´t name it that way, so for now is Book Cover Battle .

This week book cover battle is

The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson

US (Hardback)                                     US (Paperback)

UK (Hardback)                                     UK (Paperback)

Spain                                                    Danish

Dutch                                                    Italian

German (Hardback)                                     German (Paperback)

Portuguese                                                               Swedish

I like almost all the book covers, most of them are simple and a lot of them are either cute or with something red on them (I love that color). The ones I like the most are the US and UK paperbacks and my least favorite despite all the littl details on the cover is from Sweden.

What do you think? Which is your favorite?

  1. Whoa! There are SO many!!! For here in the US, I like the original WAY better. The vines, and well, I dunno it just doesn't look like the way Lennie would act, to me. So... that one's a no for me, and it's a toss-up for least favorite between that and the Swedish one (hee hee). The US/Spain's or Italy's (uh... or the UK--can't decide) are my favorites! This was FUN!!! :)

  3. This is my favorite contemporary story. It is one of my favorite books, period. I read the hardback edition, and I have a soft spot in my heart for that cover. But I like the US paperback, as well. And I really like that the UK paperback and the Danish covers have elements of the story on them.

  5. UK paperback! I have that one (although it's been shamefully neglected for more than a year) and it's so pretty. The cover is slightly shimmery irl and has this really nice feel to it.

The Dutch cover is probably my least favorite.

  7. I love the UK hardback edition and the Italian edition. I think the Swedish one is really weird.
